TeacherActive is recruiting experienced and confident
Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming schools from September. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for
day-to-day flexibility, short-term cover or longer-term placements.
As an HLTA, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You may be responsible for
delivering pre-planned lessons, providing PPA cover, leading small groups and interventions, and supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis.
What We're Looking For
•
HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience
•
Previous experience working within a school setting
•
Confidence leading a class and delivering pre-planned lessons
•
Strong classroom and behaviour management
•
Experience delivering interventions and small-group activities
•
Ability to support pupils with different learning needs
•
SEND experience is beneficial
•
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
•
A positive, reliable and adaptable approach
