TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic and reliable
Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming schools from September. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for
day-to-day flexibility, short-term cover or longer-term placements.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning and development. This could include providing
1:1 support, working with small groups, assisting with classroom activities and supporting pupils with additional needs.
What We're Looking For
•
Previous experience working with children or young people
•
Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not always essential
•
A positive, patient and supportive approach
•
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
•
Confidence supporting pupils individually and in small groups
•
SEND experience is highly desirable
•
Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
•
A genuine passion for helping children succeed
