Carrying out AML and CDD checks as part of the client onboarding process.

Completing risk assessments and identifying potential financial crime concerns.

Conducting sanctions, PEP and adverse information screening.

Researching clients, ownership structures and related entities to establish beneficial ownership.

Reviewing client information and documentation and following up where further details are required.

Responding to routine AML, KYC and financial crime queries from colleagues across the business.

Working alongside New Business Intake and other teams to keep the onboarding process moving efficiently.

Ensuring due diligence is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Keeping up to date with relevant AML and financial crime regulatory developments.

What We're Looking For:

Around 18 months' or more experience in AML, KYC, CDD, financial crime or a related compliance environment.

Experience gained within a regulated organisation, professional services firm, regulator or law enforcement environment.

A law degree (2:1 or above preferred) or relevant compliance/KYC qualifications and experience.

A solid understanding of AML and financial crime principles.

Strong research and analytical ability, with good attention to detail.

The ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

A practical and commercially minded approach to problem solving.

The confidence to work independently while also being comfortable dealing with a range of internal stakeholders.

Why Consider It?
