Summary

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for an experienced

ESOL Lecturer to join a well-established college in

South Yorkshire on a part-time temporary contract working 12 hours per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated ESOL lecturer who has experience delivering high-quality teaching within the Further Education sector.

Role Details

  • Position: ESOL Lecturer

  • Location: South Yorkshire

  • Contract: 12 Hours per week

  • Pay Rate: £25.00 - £30.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective ESOL lessons to students of varying abilities.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment that motivates and supports learners to achieve their potential.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience teaching ESOL within a Further Education college.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
  • A relevant degree or recognised qualification in related subject
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
