To plan and supervise the allocation of cleaning staff to cleaning contracts and specials to meet or exceed contractual requirements.
To provide hands-on cleaning cover for absence, holidays, sickness for both contractual and special works.
To supervise the work of daily cleaning staff in celebrating excellent performance and managing poor performance, address training needs, resolve client complaints and minimise rework.
To recruit, induct and train new cleaning operatives on-site and ensure compulsory training modules and paperwork is completed prior to first day of trial.
To embrace and roll-out technologies (i.e. footprints) and new or updated processes with direct reports to continue to move the business forward.
To ensure compulsory training modules are completed and any new training is in place for existing colleagues to meet current legislation.
To carry out QC with cleaning colleagues on a monthly basis minimum by site visits and keeping in touch by phone or email with clients to discuss contract needs, colleague improvements.
To work closely with the CPS Team Leader to ensure the accuracy of staff timesheet records, confirming agreed overtime, additional hours, temporary changes in work locations, and other contractual variations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
To arrange stock by direct ordering via portal(s) in the delivery of all chargeable consumable items to meet designated client’s requirements, ensuring that the appropriate internal documentation is raised for invoicing clients.
To attend CPS Management meetings as required in order to contribute to the delivery of high quality, effective and profitable cleaning services.
To identify new business opportunities and work collaboratively with CPS Office Team to progress new business opportunities and quotations.
To deputise for Team Leader or other team members from time to time as required.
