Summary

Our son lives independently within the community, with family nearby for support. He is seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) who can provide consistent monthly support, enabling him to build a reliable and positive working relationship.

The role will involve approximately 12 hours per month, which can be arranged flexibly depending on agreed plans. This may include, for example, two 6-hour sessions per month or occasional full-day outings.

The PA must be a driver with access to a vehicle, as public transport in and around Coleshill is limited. While he occasionally uses public transport or taxis, he would like to build his confidence in this area. Therefore, a PA who is willing to support and encourage him to use public transport when appropriate would be highly beneficial.

He is looking for someone he feels comfortable with and respects. The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, outgoing, and engaging, with the ability to use their initiative. They should be able to offer gentle guidance when needed and introduce him to new experiences and activities.

His interests include music (including occasional gigs), comedy, theatre, cinema, and football. He would also be interested in attending sporting events.

The role will involve planning activities together, making necessary bookings, and maintaining some communication with family members regarding scheduling, online accounts, and payments.

The successful candidate must be reliable, trustworthy, and honest. He requires support with managing money, including online transactions, as he is not able to do this independently.
