Summary

In Acute Medicine the post holder will be responsible to Palmira Mathurdas, Clinical Lead for Acute Medicine, and Tim Baruah, the Divisional Clinical Director for Acute Medicine Services. A core team of Acute Physicians lead the department and deliver the following; AMU weekday cover AEC weekday cover Weekday take cover Emergency floor acute medical cover at the weekend This core-team oversees training, clinical governance, audit, service development, quality improvement and acute medicine research for the acute medicine service, working with collaborating teams. They will also provide senior clinical leadership to our acute medicine digitization plans. A group of Specialty Physicians contribute to weekday acute take cover and AMU cover at the weekend.
