Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting children with their learning, development and wellbeing.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to provide valuable support to pupils and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
•
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
•
Assisting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
•
Helping pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning
•
Providing additional support to pupils who may require extra help
•
Supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs where required
•
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
•
Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
•
Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment
•
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other members of staff
The Ideal Candidate
We would love to hear from you if you:

Have previous experience working with children or young people
•
Have experience within a school or classroom setting, although this is not always essential
•
Are patient, approachable and enthusiastic
•
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
•
Are confident building positive relationships with pupils
•
Are reliable, adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team
•
Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
•
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Candidates with transferable experience from
childcare, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, care or other child-focused settings are also encouraged to apply.
