The role offers the chance to work as part of a professional driving operation on a temporary basis.Key responsibilities• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly• Complete deliveries and collections in line with agreed schedules• Load, secure and check goods carried on a curtainsider trailer• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records• Follow transport, road safety and company procedures• Provide professional service at collection and delivery pointsSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience• Practical experience using curtainsider trailers• Good knowledge of vehicle safety and load security• Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts• Professional approach with good communication skillsBenefits• £18.50 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersApplicants should be comfortable working independently at night and maintaining high standards of safety, care and punctuality throughout each shift.Apply today.
