This is a days-based role focused on trunking work and the safe, reliable movement of goods.Key responsibilities• Complete planned trunking routes safely and efficiently• Carry out vehicle checks before, during and after each journey• Ensure loads are secure and handled in line with legal requirements• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately• Maintain good communication with transport colleagues and customers• Follow company procedures, road safety requirements and working-time regulations• Keep the vehicle clean and report any defects promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1/C+E driving licence• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience• Trunking experience is required• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours regulations• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work independently and manage planned routes effectivelyBenefits• £16.00 to £17.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Permanent, days-based employment• Local employer visibilityIf you are a dependable HGV Class 1 Driver with trunking experience and the required licences, apply today.
