Its operations support deliveries across South Wales and beyond, with a focus on reliable, flexible transport solutions for customers.The roleAn opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy night operation on a temporary basis. You will be responsible for completing trunking work safely, efficiently and in line with legal and company requirements.Key responsibilities• Carry out night-time trunking routes• Complete vehicle safety checks before and after each journey• Ensure goods are transported securely and delivered on schedule• Maintain accurate delivery, mileage and defect records• Follow drivers’ hours, working time and road transport regulations• Communicate professionally with transport and depot teams• Report delays, defects or other issues promptly• Keep the vehicle clean and presentableSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience• Trunking experience• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety requirements• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Professional approach and strong communication skills• Ability to complete vehicle checks and associated paperworkBenefits• £17 to £18 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Night-shift work• Temporary assignment in LlanelliIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for reliable night work and have trunking experience, this could be a suitable opportunity.Apply today.
