Staff Nurse - L

uxury Mental Health Care Home

Hours: 36-42 per week, rotation of day and night shifts 

Rate of Pay: £22 per hour 

 

Our client is proud to offer exceptional care in a luxury care home setting, specialising in the support of older adults with mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. They are now looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join the team on permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a highly regarded service that combines clinical excellence with a truly person-centred approach.

 

With a strong, values-led team and a Good CQC rating, the service offers a therapeutic and supportive environment tailored to complex mental health presentations.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • NMC registration as an

    RGN or RMN with relevant experience in mental health or complex behaviours

  • Strong clinical skills and a sound understanding of safeguarding and risk management

  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviours and supporting individuals with dignity and compassion

  • A calm, proactive approach and the ability to work independently overnight

  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults with mental health needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to residents with complex mental health needs

  • Lead and support the night care team, ensuring continuity and consistency of care

  • Administer medication, monitor physical and mental health, and respond to clinical needs

  • Develop and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and families

  • Promote a positive, respectful culture that supports autonomy and individual choice

  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in line with professional standards

  • Work collaboratively with external healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care
