This is a unique opportunity to join Wakefield Council at a pivotal time of transformation and improvement. We're looking for an exceptional Head of Service - Adult Social Care Communities to provide strategic leadership across community based services, ensuring people receive the right support at the right time to maximise independence, wellbeing and choice.
As a key member of our senior leadership team, you'll lead high quality social work, safeguarding, assessment and support planning services, driving innovation, continuous improvement and partnership working across health and social care. You'll play a critical role in ensuring services are person centred, strengths-based, financially sustainable, and focused on achieving the very best outcomes for individuals, carers, families and communities.
