This is a unique opportunity to join Wakefield Council at a pivotal time of transformation and improvement. We're looking for an exceptional Head of Service - Prevention and Pathways to lead strategic and operational services that help prevent, reduce and delay the need for care and support, enabling people to live healthier, more independent lives.
As a key member of our senior leadership team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of Adult Social Care across Wakefield. Leading multidisciplinary teams, driving innovation and service transformation, and championing prevention, wellbeing and safeguarding, you'll ensure services are person centred, strengths based, sustainable, and focused on achieving the best outcomes for individuals, carers, families and communities.
