The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Case Worker to join our growing Business Rates Department.
Working closely with the Head of Department and your colleagues, you will manage a portfolio of Business Rates cases, liaise with clients and external organisations, and ensure every case is handled efficiently, professionally, and in line with compliance requirements.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Case Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Managing Business Rates cases from initial instruction through to completion.
Gathering and assessing case information to determine eligibility.
Setting up and maintaining client records on the case management system.
Updating VOA case spreadsheets and internal databases.
Liaising with clients, local councils, the Valuation Office Agency (VOA), and other professional organisations.
Drafting contracts and client correspondence.
Responding to client enquiries in accordance with the company's Terms of Business.
Ensuring all cases comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Supporting Directors, the Head of Department, Line Managers, and colleagues across the business.
Carrying out research and providing administrative support where required.
Assisting with general office duties including answering calls, filing, scanning, printing, post handling, and document management.
Attending team and business meetings.
Undertaking additional administrative and ad hoc duties as required.
