What you will bring to the role We are looking for an experienced Registered Midwife who can demonstrate: Significant post-registration experience, including experience within acute maternity, antenatal inpatient care, maternity assessment, triage or comparable services. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and support teams. Experience of managing workforce performance, recruitment, appraisal and staff development. A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, woman-centred and evidence-based care. Experience of service improvement, quality assurance, clinical audit and change management. Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, including the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary colleagues and external partners. The ability to work collaboratively across organisational and professional boundaries. Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills in a complex and fast-paced environment. Knowledge of current national maternity priorities, professional standards and the importance of timely escalation, risk assessment and safe patient flow. A passion for developing others and creating positive learning environments for staff and students.
