This is a fantastic opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on delivering exceptional customer service.As a key link between customers and operational teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring shipments are managed efficiently from booking through to final delivery. You will work closely with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to provide seamless logistics support and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesManage customer shipments from booking through to successful delivery.Monitor and track shipments, proactively identifying and resolving delays or operational issues.Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and excellent service.Liaise with carriers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data.Handle customer queries, complaints, and service issues in a professional and timely manner.Support warehouse and operations teams to ensure service levels are achieved.Assist with reporting, administration, and operational coordination activities.Support the invoicing process and help collate billing information where required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:A minimum of 3 years' experience within logistics, freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, or a 3PL environment.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transport planning, and supply chain processes.Experience managing shipments from initial booking through to delivery.Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.Experience tracking shipments and proactively managing operational challenges.Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and administration.Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Order Management Systems, and Microsoft Office.Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to work closely alongside operational teams.DesirablePrevious experience supporting client invoicing and billing administration.On Offer£28,572 + benefits.Career development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative working environment.Opportunity to join a growing and dynamic logistics operation.Comprehensive training and ongoing support.If you're an organised, customer-focused logistics professional looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
