Its distribution and transport teams help maintain regular store deliveries and support efficient day-to-day retail operations.Key responsibilities• Complete planned retail store deliveries safely and efficiently• Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues• Load, secure and handle goods in line with company procedures• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain relevant delivery confirmations• Maintain high standards of punctuality, customer service and professionalism• Follow all applicable road safety, transport and site proceduresSkills and qualifications• Current HGV Class 1 driving entitlement• Required Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)• Experience of retail store deliveries• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours requirements• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently• Professional communication and customer service skills• Physically able to support delivery and handling duties where requiredBenefits• £18 to £22 per hour• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employers• Day shifts• Temporary work in SolihullIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver seeking temporary daytime work, apply today.
