Established in Birmingham, the business specialises in areas including bricks, timber and general building supplies, with delivery services supporting construction and home improvement projects.Key responsibilities• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle fitted with HIAB• Complete deliveries of building materials to customer and site locations• Load, secure and unload goods in line with safety procedures• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks• Complete delivery paperwork accurately• Provide professional customer service at delivery points• Follow road safety, site safety and company proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Current Driver CPC qualification• HIAB certificate and practical experience• Experience delivering building materials or similar goods is desirable• Good knowledge of safe load handling and vehicle checks• Reliable, punctual and professional approach• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• £17.50–£18.00 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Opportunity to be visible to local employersIf you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB capability and are available for daytime temporary work in Birmingham, apply today.
