We’re looking for an organised and analytical Stock Controller to join our team in Ebbw Vale.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our manufacturing operation. You’ll help us make sure that what our systems say we have in
stock matches what is actually on site – investigating discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory records and working closely
with teams across the factory.

What will you be doing?
No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll develop a strong understanding of our manufacturing processes, production areas and
stock locations, allowing you to identify issues and keep our inventory accurate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring stock levels across all areas of the manufacturing site.
* Investigating stock variances and identifying the reasons behind differences between physical counts and production work
orders.
* Processing work orders and stock transfers through our Microsoft NAV operating system.
* Completing and posting stock takes, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
* Maintaining stock take spreadsheets and issuing information to the relevant teams.
* Updating item and inventory information within Microsoft NAV.
* Building a strong understanding of our production processes and stock movements across the site.
* Working with colleagues across production, supply chain and other departments to resolve stock-related issues.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, confident working with numbers and prepared to investigate when something
doesn’t look right.
You'll need:
* Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Previous experience in stock control, inventory, supply chain or a similar role.
* Experience working within an FMCG or continuous manufacturing environment.
* A good understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
* Previous experience using Microsoft NAV or a similar ERP/MRP system.
You’ll be expected to:
* Work safely and follow all site Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
* Identify and report hazards, near misses and unsafe conditions.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within your working environment.
* Follow site food safety, quality and personal hygiene requirements.
* Promote GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and CAYG (Clean As You Go).
* Challenge poor practice and help us continuously improve the way we work.
