About the Role
DC Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner for a long-term permanent position based in the Market Harborough area.
The successful candidate will be working with a growing company producing high-quality, bespoke joinery for both commercial and residential clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on a variety of bespoke projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinetry, furniture and woodwork from technical drawings
Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Measure, cut, shape and fit timber and sheet materials with precision
Carry out on-site installations where required, including kitchens, wardrobes and shop fitting
Read and interpret work plans and technical drawings
Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet the required standards
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
Work closely with colleagues and liaise with supervisors and clients when required
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Bench Joiner or in a similar joinery role
Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
A reliable, punctual and professional approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong commitment to quality and safe working practices
