Summary
Core Musical Responsibilities
• Lead worship music: Play instruments such as organ, piano, guitar, bass, drums, or other instruments during services, rehearsals, and special events
• Select and plan music: Choose hymns, psalms, spiritual songs, and contemporary worship pieces in line with liturgical themes and sermon topics
• Direct choirs and ensembles: Lead congregational singing, guide choir rehearsals, and coordinate with other musical groups
• Accompany soloists and congregations: Provide musical support for special performances, weddings, funerals, and holiday services
Technical and Ministry Support
• Operate audio-visual and sound systems: Manage microphones, PA systems, and media equipment for worship and outreach
• Train in music and media: Deliver classes in instruments, music theory, and sound production; mentor young people and volunteers
• Coordinate teams: Work with worship, media, and outreach teams; recruit and train volunteers
