Summary

Location: Boyn Grove Resource Centre, Maidenhead

Hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm

Salary: £24,791.39 FTE (£12.85ph)

At Boyn Grove, we provide stimulating activities and opportunities so that people we support can meet friends, visit different places, learn new things and improve their well-being. In simple terms: we have a lot of fun while providing high-quality care!

We are recruiting enthusiastic, creative people to our teams as Activity Support Organisers in Maidenhead;

The Dementia Resource Centre is a specialist hub designed to improve the quality of life for older people living with dementia, memory loss, Parkinson’s, and other long-term health issues., where they can socialise, stay active, and enjoy sensory experiences. We are recruiting:

• Full-time; 37 hours | Mon-Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm

Our Learning Disability Day Service provides stimulating activities and opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with physical disabilities to enjoy the things that matter, stay mentally and physically active and develop new skills. We are recruiting:

• Full-time; 37 hours | Mon-Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm

• Part-time; 22.5 hours | Wed-Fri 8.30am – 4.30pm (12-month fixed term contract)

The Role

As an Activity Support Organiser, you will provide high quality, person-centred support and help deliver meaningful activities catered to the interests of the people we support. You’ll engage and motivate people to take part in our exciting range of on-site activities and events in the community, and support with life skills, as well as emotional and physical wellbeing.

The role will also involve care responsibilities, which may include administering medication, supporting with personal care, helping with meals and assisting with mobility.
