About the Role:

Continuity of Care Services is looking for a kind, compassionate, and reliable Complex Support Worker to support a gentleman in his 50s who is living with the effects of a traumatic brain injury. He has left-sided weakness but remains mobile, and although he is cortically blind, he is able to see shadows and shapes. Support will be provided both in his home and out in the local community around the Tunbridge Wells area, helping him to live an active, meaningful, and enjoyable life. He has a great love of swimming, enjoys a variety of sports, and values spending time outdoors. He also enjoys getting out and about and appreciates having routine activities planned in advance, so good organisation and a positive, encouraging approach are important. You will be required to use your own car to support him with community activities, so being a calm and confident driver is essential. Mileage will be paid in addition to your salary. A contribution towards business car insurance will also be provided, as it is a requirement of the role.
