Enhanced DBS - Children's Barred List required

Driving Licence required

Hybrid- in office five days a week in the duty week, two to three days in office in the other weeks

The role involves taking cases from referral all the way to completion at closure, or through CIN, CP and Care Proceedings if necessary with no change of Social Worker.

The office base is in Grantham, there is free parking on site. During duty weeks we may also be based in Bourne at times.

We cover the whole of South Kesteven East District, which encompasses both Grantham and a large rural area reaching Bourne and Stamford. We have three duty groups and work one week one duty/ two weeks off.

Job description

Will be responsible for completing assessments of children and their families where safeguarding concerns have been shared. Responsible for supporting children who are subject to child protection and Child in need Plans as well as compiling assessments and reports for court within private and public law proceedings.

The role involves taking cases from referral all the way to completion at closure, or through CIN, CP and Care Proceedings if necessary with no change of Social Worker.

The office base is in Grantham, there is free parking on site. We cover the whole of South Kesteven District EAST which encompasses both Grantham and a large rural area reaching Bourne and Stamford.
