Summary

We are working with a reputable automotive employer to recruit a skilled HGV Technician for their busy Grantham branch. The successful HGV Technician will join a well-established multi-award-winning dealer group with over 50 years of service, offering excellent long-term career prospects and competitive compensation.

- Working hours of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with alternating shifts (Week 1: 6am-2pm; Week 2: 2pm-10pm)

Duties of a HGV Technician:

- Conduct repairs and servicing of HGV vehicles

- Perform diagnostic checks to identify faults

- Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults

- Carry out work in accordance with DVSA standards

- Provide excellent customer service and communication

- Carry out all other vehicle maintenance and repair tasks as required

Requirements of a HGV Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Mechanics

- Proven experience working on HGV vehicles

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Own set of tools

- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure

- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
