Summary

Bello Scot is looking for a reliable and organised Packing Manager to join our team at our Cornwall depot.

We supply wild, seasonal and foraged produce to some of the UK’s leading restaurants, chefs and wholesalers. We’re looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our packing operation and make sure orders leave us accurately, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.

The Role

As Packing Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Managing the daily packing and dispatch of customer orders

* Organising the packing team and daily workload

* Checking orders for accuracy, quality and presentation

* Ensuring produce is correctly weighed, labelled and packed

* Maintaining stock rotation and helping monitor stock levels

* Making sure traceability procedures are followed

* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards

* Preparing orders for courier collections

* Identifying and resolving packing or order issues before dispatch

* Working closely with the wider Bello Scot team to keep the depot running smoothly

* Comfortable taking responsibility and leading a small team

* Able to work efficiently in a busy environment

* Excellent at attention to detail

* Confident working independently

* Practical and willing to get involved

* Interested in food, wild produce or the hospitality industry

Previous experience in food production, packing, warehouse operations, hospitality or team management would be beneficial, although training on our products and systems will be provided.
