At The Compleat Food Group, we’re proud to be a food business built on purpose and passion. Formed in 2021, we’re on a mission to

create Food to Feel Good - great quality, tasty and affordable food that people love to eat.

We’re home to some of the UK’s most exciting and loved food brands, including Wall’s Pastry, Pork Farms, Wrights, The Real

Yorkshire Pudding Co., unearthed, Vadasz, Squeaky Bean, Palace Culture, and Harvey & Brockless. Alongside our branded portfolio,

we’re a leading supplier of delicious own-label pastry, sweet bakery, party food, olives and antipasti, added-value egg products,

With over 6,000 talented colleagues across 17 sites, and an annual turnover of £1.3bn, we’re united by a shared ambition to shape

the future of food for the better.

What you’ll be doing

As Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll be a key point of contact for the team during B shift. You’ll help set the pace, organise

priorities and make sure everyone has the support they need to deliver a successful shift.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading and supporting the B shift warehouse team, making sure work is completed safely, accurately and on time.

* Planning and prioritising the daily workload, including picking, loading, goods-in, stock movements and despatch.

* Keeping customer service at the heart of the operation, ensuring orders are picked, checked and despatched accurately and

within deadlines.

* Monitoring performance, productivity and accuracy, responding quickly when issues arise and escalating where appropriate.

* Coaching and developing colleagues, helping the team understand procedures, expectations and what great performance looks like.

* Maintaining excellent warehouse standards, including housekeeping, hygiene, food safety and stock control.

* Putting safety first, ensuring health and safety procedures, manual handling requirements and safe use of MHE are followed.

* Keeping records accurate and up to date, including paperwork, system updates and shift handovers.

* Working closely with other teams, including production, transport and planning, to keep the whole site moving smoothly.

What we’re looking for:

You don’t just need to be good at warehouse operations – you need to be someone people can rely on.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Has experience working in a warehouse, distribution or fast-paced operational environment.

* Has previous team leader, supervisory or people-coordination experience, or is ready to take the next step into leadership.

* Can confidently organise and prioritise workloads in a busy environment.

* Understands the importance of health & safety, hygiene, food safety and accurate stock control.

* Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right first time.

* Communicates clearly and works well with colleagues across different departments.

* Is comfortable addressing problems, making decisions and escalating issues when necessary.

* Can motivate, coach and support colleagues to achieve high standards.

* Is confident completing paperwork and using warehouse or stock-management systems.
