Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Sandwich that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to build your Key Stage 1 experience or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh opportunity, we have a variety of roles available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in helping pupils complete their Key Stage 1 journey and prepare for the move into Key Stage 2. You'll support children as they develop confidence, independence and key literacy and numeracy skills, helping them build strong foundations for future success.You'll create engaging and inclusive learning experiences, foster a positive classroom environment and encourage every child to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and attainment

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a passion for helping children succeed
