Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Broadstairs that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your Key Stage 1 experience or an experienced practitioner seeking a new opportunity, we have a variety of roles available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you'll play a key role in helping pupils transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You'll support children as they develop independence, confidence and the essential literacy, numeracy and communication skills that provide the foundations for future learning.You'll deliver engaging and creative lessons, foster a positive classroom environment and help every child develop a love of learning while achieving their full potential academically and personally.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

Can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupil progress

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
