Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Herne Bay that are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to strengthen your Key Stage 1 experience or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh challenge, we have a variety of opportunities available across supportive and welcoming school settings.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils complete their Key Stage 1 journey and prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. You'll support children as they develop confidence, independence and essential literacy and numeracy skills, helping them build strong foundations for the years ahead.You'll deliver engaging and creative lessons, create a positive learning environment and support pupils in achieving their full academic, social and emotional potential.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We're Looking for Teachers Who:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

Can deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire young learners

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Are committed to supporting pupil progress and achievement

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Bring enthusiasm, patience and a passion for primary education
