Overview We are seeking skilled and experienced Plumbers and Pipefitters to join our team for a 2-month project in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with expertise in pipework installation to contribute to a high-quality project. The role involves working with a variety of materials and systems, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Pipefitters: Installation of 32mm – 15mm screwed pipework feeding radiators.

- Plumbers:

- Installation of 28mm – 15mm copper press pipework feeding wash hand basins.

- Installation of 50mm – 32mm MUPVC waste pipe systems from wash hand basins.

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including asbestos awareness protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

- Conduct quality checks to ensure all installations meet required standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

- Valid CSCS Card (essential).

- Asbestos Awareness certification (essential).

- Proven experience in pipefitting or plumbing, with a strong understanding of the materials and systems outlined above.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Day-to-Day

- Review project plans and specifications to determine work requirements.

- Install and secure pipework systems, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.

- Perform routine inspections and tests to verify the integrity of installations.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any challenges or changes in project scope.

- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations throughout the workday.
