Service Coordinator – Minworth, Sutton Coldfield

Salary: TBC around 28k

Location: Minworth, Sutton Coldfield

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Holiday: 25 days, rising by 1 day each year up to 30 days

The RoleWe’re looking for an organised and proactive Service Coordinator to join the team in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield.

As a Service Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service operation running smoothly. You’ll coordinate engineers, manage customer requirements, arrange quotations and ensure work is booked efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning and managing engineers' diaries and schedules

- Booking engineers in for planned and reactive work

- Arranging customer appointments and coordinating site visits

- Preparing, sending and following up on quotations

- Dealing with customer enquiries by phone and email

- Liaising with engineers to ensure they have everything required to complete their work

- Managing incoming jobs and allocating work efficiently

- Keeping customers updated on job progress

- Coordinating jobs from initial enquiry through to completion

- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records

- Managing multiple priorities and ensuring deadlines are met

About YouWe’re looking for a Service Coordinator who is highly organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a busy service environment.

You’ll ideally have experience in service coordination, scheduling, engineering administration, facilities or a similar role.

You’ll need:

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills

- Strong communication and customer service abilities

- The ability to coordinate multiple engineers and jobs simultaneously

- Confidence dealing with quotations and customer enquiries

- Good IT and administration skills

- A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail

- The ability to remain calm and organised under pressure

- Experience within an engineering, technical or service environment would be advantageous
