We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

M Group are looking to recruit a Traffic Management CAD Technician within our Water Division to work on our Thames Water contract based in Crossness.

You'll be responsible for producing high quality Traffic Management plans to the standards of NRSWA and Chapter 8. Producing high quality, accurate Traffic Management Plans.

We'll need you to ensure all drawings are chapter 8 compliant and in line with company guidance and you'll be required to deal with in bound customer requests for Traffic Management Plans & Drawings.

You'll work with our Mobile Apps & checking our portal for CAD Requests along with completing site surveys (Technical Element) once trained and confident.

You'll develop and maintain our plans on all platforms, Salesforce etc as well as supporting the Management team in other areas as required to ensure we meet our customer requirements.

What you’ll bring

- Do you have Traffic Management experience?

- Have you gained knowledge of Chapter 8, Safety Street Works and Road Works Code of Practice?

- Do you have previous experience of AutoCAD, Visio and/or Brics CAD and/or Cone 9,10, 11 within the Traffic Management Sector?

- Do you have experience of carrying out site surveys? Working on the public highway would be advantageous.

- Are you Lantra trained to M7? Knowledge of Temporary Traffic Management design in the urban environment would be desirable.

- Do you have excellent communication skills in dealing with clients and colleagues.?

- Can you work under pressure to meet tight deadlines?

- Do you have a flexible approach to work to meet clients demands?

- Are you comfortable working with a small team and prepared to support in other areas across the business?

- Do you have good knowledge of IT – AutoCAD/Brics/CAD/Visio - Microsoft Office, Exchange, SharePoint - Excel Spread sheets, Power Point? These would be desirable

- Do you hold a valid driving licence?
