Summary

Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in Chippenham, Wiltshire, is seeking to appoint a Vehicle Warranty Administrator to join their busy Service Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive administrative professional to develop their career within a well-established dealership group.

Duties:

- Preparing and submitting warranty claims to manufacturers for payment

- Checking and clearing weekly manufacturer statements, resolving any overdue claims or discrepancies

- Ensuring all warranty documentation aligns with manufacturer guidelines

- Preparing accurate invoices and warranty claims in accordance with departmental standards

- Completing repair order documentation thoroughly and correctly

- Processing policy claims efficiently and verifying customer reimbursements

- Managing return of displaced materials and maintaining control standards

- Reconciling warranty credits accurately and resolving administrative discrepancies

- Assisting with general office administration tasks

- Collaborating with colleagues and providing excellent support within the Service Department

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an administrative role within the automotive industry

- Knowledge of vehicle warranty processes

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting demands

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to foster positive relationships with customers and colleagues

- Experience with Kerridge/Keyloop dealer management system is advantageous but not essential
