Summary

HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Excellent Pay, Day and Night Shifts Available

Our client is a respected family-owned transport and logistics company with a strong presence across the UK and international markets. Operating within the construction, retail, and manufacturing sectors, they transport a wide range of products and materials while delivering first-class service through their partnership with The Pallet Network (TPN).

This is a varied Class 1 driving role involving the delivery of palletised freight to customers across the region. Drivers will be responsible for safely unloading goods using a tail lift and electric pump truck, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. For drivers who prefer longer-distance work, PM trunking shifts are also available.

Drivers will be expected to carry out daily vehicle inspections, operate in line with all transport legislation and company procedures, and ensure all delivery notes and transport paperwork are completed accurately throughout each shift.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess the following:

- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence

- A current Driver CPC qualification

- A valid Digital Tachograph Card

- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

- A minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience

We're looking for experienced drivers who can confidently manage their workload, work independently when required, and uphold high standards of professionalism at all times. Successful applicants will be safety-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional service while acting as a positive representative of the business.

This is an on-going full time position with genuine temp to perm opportunities also available

Working hours are 0800 start Monday to Friday on days and 1800 Monday to friday on nights

Offering competitive rates of £18.00 per hour for day shifts and £19.00 per hour for night shifts, this role provides excellent earning potential across both available shift patterns.
