We are working with a range of welcoming and professional early years settings across Colchester who are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join their teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting children’s development, creating engaging learning experiences and providing high-quality care in line with the EYFS.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
• Provide high-quality care, support and education to children
• Plan and support engaging activities that encourage learning and development
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Support children’s emotional, social and educational development
• Follow the EYFS framework and contribute to children’s learning journeys
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Work effectively as part of a dedicated nursery team
• Promote safeguarding and always prioritise children’s wellbeing
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Passionate about working with children
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable
• Confident working within an early years environment
• A strong communicator and team player
• Creative and proactive when supporting children’s learning
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
Requirements
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS
• A strong commitment to safeguarding
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
