Summary

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–13:30 (Early finish Friday!)

About the Role

Are you skilled with hand tools and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a Production Finisher to join our manufacturing team in Corby.In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ceramic cores to the exact specifications required by our customers. You will work delicately on components to remove surface flaws, ensuring every piece leaves the department to a flawless finish.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Finishing: Select and use the appropriate hand files and sandpapers to smoothly remove surface flaws from ceramic cores.

Precision Drilling: Safely operate NSK hand drills and select the correct files to suit detailed finishing tasks.

Component Modification: Carefully remove temporary tie bars from components and make good the surfaces where required.

Quality Standard Adherence: Work strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), understanding the strict quality criteria and the impact on the finished product.

Documentation: Maintain accurate document and record entries for trace control and quality tracking.
