Summary
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–13:30 (Early finish Friday!)
Key Responsibilities
Visual Inspection: Examine ceramic cores thoroughly to detect and identify surface flaws, including cracking, positive surface defects, and negative surface defects.
Quality Gatekeeping: Ensure all components meet strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) before leaving Production Unit.
Defect Enhancement: Utilise methanol blue dye to enhance and clearly view potential defects.
Precision Tools: Use specialist inspection lighting and magnification equipment where appropriate.
Rework & Patching: Apply correct patching techniques to approved locations on the cores.
Data Logging: Complete accurate document and record entries to maintain strict quality control tracking.
