Your Role

To provide an efficient and effective insurance claims handling service for Council Services, affiliated companies and external customers. You will also provide advice and support to more junior team members.

About You

You will have substantial experience of insurance personal injury and damage claims handling including knowledge of case law, civil procedure rules and the ability to quantify damages.

You will be able to prioritise deadlines to ensure claims are handled effectively in a busy and varied claims environment.

The Insurance Claims Team manage a very varied range of claims across a broad range of service area. This role offers a real exposure to working in local government and an ability to really deliver value for money to residents through the effective management of liability claims.
