Your Role

Our Neighbourhood's Team is looking to expand our Arboricultural Management Team by recruiting an Assistant Tree Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early period of their career to gain experience of working within a busy tree management team.

The role involves investigating and replying to enquiries from the public on tree management and maintenance matters. Assisting the Tree Officers with the effective management of the tree stock owned by the council, including assisting with the use of decay detection equipment and maintaining inventory records

About You

We are looking for candidates with experience in tree management, including a working knowledge of BS 3998, experience of tree inventory systems and maintaining tree assets. A minimum of a level three arboricultural qualification is required.
