Summary
The Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service provides assessment and treatment of patients witha wide variety of clinical conditionsincluding:
• Urotherapy / continence disorders
• Post-op conditions
• Gynaecological conditions
• Perinatal Pelvic Health Conditions
Staff pride themselves on development of the service by offeringa robust supervision and training package.
A Band 5 to 6 training role would be considered if the applicant lacks the required knowledge, skills and experience required for a Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapy role.
To perform specialist assessment and treatment of patients with Pelvic Health conditions; determine a clinical diagnosis; develop, implement, evaluate and modify individualised treatment programmes; and ensure appropriate pathways of care and communication via liaison and referral to other agencies as required. The patient's will present with acute or chronic conditions, some of which may be complex.
