Summary

Tenancy Specialist needed in South London Paying  £24.84 per hr ref 000B 365D / 1

Full time on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex tenancy management and anti-social behaviour cases from initial complaint through to resolution.
  • Investigate breaches of tenancy including nuisance, harassment, noise complaints, unauthorised occupation, subletting and tenancy fraud.
  • Conduct interviews, tenancy visits, inspections and risk assessments to gather evidence and assess appropriate actions.
  • Develop and implement action plans to resolve tenancy and community safety issues.
  • Work closely with residents to sustain tenancies and prevent escalation of disputes and housing issues.
  • Prepare warning letters, notices, witness statements and legal documentation to support enforcement action.
  • Liaise with legal teams and attend court hearings, case conferences and professional meetings where required.
  • Work in partnership with the police, local authorities, social services, mental health teams, support agencies and community groups.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and make referrals where appropriate.
  • Support victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour, ensuring regular communication and case updates.
  • Monitor compliance with tenancy agreements, acceptable behaviour contracts, injunctions and court orders.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints, ensuring a customer-focused and timely service.
  • Maintain accurate case records and produce reports in line with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to estate inspections, neighbourhood improvement initiatives and community engagement activities.
  • Promote community cohesion and support initiatives that improve resident satisfaction and neighbourhood sustainability.
