We’re looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our damp team, delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment work across domestic properties.
The Role
You’ll carry out a wide range of plastering tasks, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
Carry out a range of damp proofing and plastering works to a high standard
Install and apply various damp proofing systems, including Injection Damp Proof Courses (DPCs), wall membrane systems, and liquid Damp Proof Membranes (DPMs)
Complete bonding, skimming, board and skim works across domestic properties
Undertake full-house re-plastering projects as well as patch repairs and remedial works
Diagnose plastering defects and implement effective repair solutions. Prepare surfaces before plastering and ensure high-quality finishing upon completion
Carry out occasional external rendering, screeding, and tiling works as required
Assess damp-related issues and follow appropriate treatment specifications
Work in accordance with health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional working environment, ensuring properties are left in excellent condition after work is completed
Provide excellent customer service when working within occupied properties
Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to company quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Plasterer (NVQ Level 2 Minimum)
Experience in domestic maintenance and refurbishment
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Proven experience in damp proofing and plastering within domestic properties
Strong knowledge of damp proofing systems and remedial treatments.
Experience with Injection DPCs, wall membrane applications, and liquid DPMs
Competent in bonding, skimming, board and skim, and full re-plastering works
Ability to diagnose and rectify plastering defects
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
