About Our Client

Our client owns and oversees a portfolio of more than 12,000 properties across central, south, and east Manchester. As a trusted Registered Provider of Social Housing, their mission extends far past simply placing residents into secure homes. They focus on delivering top-tier housing, outstanding service, and real life-changing opportunities to help local communities thrive. Following a successful structural update within their Homes department, they have optimized their processes to put customer needs first. This evolution makes it a highly rewarding time to join their team and directly see the positive impact of your daily work across the city.

Troubleshoot maintenance problems methodically to finish repairs efficiently on the first visit.

Adhere strictly to dynamic health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations.

Act as a helpful, professional representative for our client while working directly inside residents' homes.

Manage your daily tasks and schedule effectively, travelling to various sites around the Manchester region.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

A completed, recognized Plumbing apprenticeship or an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).

Proven competence in plumbing as your primary trade, backed by practical skills in tiling and plastering preferred.

Sound understanding of health and safety standards, CDM frameworks, and current legislation surrounding mould treatment (Awaab's Law).

Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact positively with tenants and team members.

A valid, full UK driving licence.

Excellent organizational capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to working safely.

Benefits & Rewards

27 days of holiday to start, increasing to 30 days after 3 years, plus all standard UK bank holidays.

An optional scheme to purchase or sell annual leave days.

A true commitment to agile and adaptable working arrangements.

An outstanding 11.4% employer Pension contribution via the Smart SHPS DC salary sacrifice framework.

Company-funded Medicash healthcare plan (Level 1) and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
