Summary

Job Title: Care Assistant

Location: WR6 - Great Witley, Worcester

Rate of Pay: £17 per hour

Shifts: 1 Shifts on Sunday (7 - 7)

Specialism: Complex Care (Spinal Cord Injury)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a

vibrant and active individual who lives with a Spinal cord injury. Our service user loves to get out and about, whether it's for her teaching job or on a holiday. They live in a warm and bustling family home in Worcester, along with their partner and a number of pets! This is a fulfilling and dynamic role offering the opportunity to learn new skills and build a meaningful care relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with mobility and manual handling

Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting

Supporting with meal preparation and feeding, where necessary

Prompting or assisting with medication

Helping with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry

Supporting daily routines and emotional wellbeing

You'll receive full training and undertake shadow shifts to ensure you feel confident and well prepared.

Key Requirements

UK Driving licence holder

Complex Care experience preferred, but not a mandatory need

Minimum 6 months of professional UK care experience

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Up-to-date CV with full work history

Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care
