You'll take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils to make strong academic and personal progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Creating an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels able to participate.
- Using assessment and feedback to identify next steps in learning.
- Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and additional needs.
- Establishing clear expectations and positive classroom routines.
- Encouraging pupils to develop independence, resilience and confidence.
- Working closely with teaching assistants and other teachers.
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Contributing to enrichment activities and wider school life.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Have secure knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- Be enthusiastic, organised and creative.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be committed to inclusive teaching and supporting individual needs.
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- A permanent teaching position from September 2026.
