Are you a Primary Teacher who enjoys creating lessons that children genuinely want to be part of?
Prebook Recruitment is supporting an inclusive and community-focused primary school in Southall that is looking to appoint a KS2 Class Teacher permanently from September 2026.
The school celebrates its diverse community and places strong relationships at the heart of learning. Staff work closely together, sharing ideas and resources to ensure every child receives the support and challenge they need.
You'll lead your own Key Stage 2 class and create a positive environment where children feel confident to ask questions, explore new ideas and take pride in their achievements.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Setting ambitious but achievable expectations for pupils.
- Monitoring progress and adapting teaching where necessary.
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning requirements.
- Developing positive behaviour through clear routines and strong relationships.
- Encouraging children to become increasingly independent learners.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues.
- Maintaining effective communication with families.
- Participating in trips, clubs, events and enrichment opportunities.
We're keen to hear from teachers who:
- Hold UK QTS.
- Have primary teaching experience or relevant ECT placements.
- Understand the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
- Have a positive and engaging classroom presence.
- Can adapt lessons for pupils with different starting points.
- Build excellent relationships with children.
- Enjoy working collaboratively.
- Are committed to safeguarding and inclusion.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will be required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
