What you will bring to the role Working closely with the Clinical Education Team, your initial focus will be to lead the development of the workforce required to safely deliver this enhanced model of care. You will review and develop the competencies, education pathways and clinical skills required for Registered Nurses working within the Enhanced Care Unit, ensuring the team is equipped to care for patients with increasingly complex clinical needs. As the service develops, you will work in partnership with the Ward C03 leadership team to provide operational leadership across the ECU, ensuring safe staffing, high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes. You will be instrumental in preparing the service for increased surgical activity and the introduction of a higher level of enhanced care, supporting the delivery of a modern, responsive and sustainable orthopaedic service.
