About the Role
Are you an organised, proactive and reliable transport planner for plant hire/sales who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a busy office environment?
We have an excellent opportunity for an office-based role, responsible for cost effective routing of deliveries and collections of construction equipment to customers and other CBL depots, working as part of a team in a fast-paced business where no two days are the same.
CBL is a family owned company, providing excellent customer service to a loyal customer base in plant hire and sales of compact equipment throughout southern Britain for over 30 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly delivery schedules.
- Liaise with drivers, customers and suppliers to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
- Monitor delivery progress and resolve any day-to-day logistical issues.
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
- Support the sales team with order processing and customer enquiries.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate transport and customer records.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
